First, I would like to welcome all of you to the Next Incantation. You are about to embark on a wonderful adventure that is full of entertainment, global relations and much more. On this site you will be open to have conversations with others that have the same interests as you do!

• I live life to its fullest. .
• I love the Harry Potter book series.

• I'm in 10th grade.
• I participate in Cross Country and Tennis.
• I like to act and sing.
• Music is amazing.

Now, maybe a l'il about Raffie boy :P

• He is not a mutant, but natural born from a human magic user mom and a anthro turtle papa
• He is a magic user but overly great at it. He never had formal training, kinda winged it usually
• He is nothing like the "blueprint" used to create him, which was Raphael - he isalot more quiet, gentle and mellower - like a real turtle's nature
• He is a student of the martial arts, first dan black belt after studying in Japan for ten years. He is capable of being sensei as well. He is a TOUGH sensei.
• He enjoys growing plants, many edible ones as well.
• He can "speak" with animals by way of sensing their emotional status, possible gained from his father's side.
• Rejected from his own home; he'd often rather be in muggle company but only in the small village he lived in Japan, they thought he was a gift from God accepting him. :P

Everybody. We run a charter school bus company and we contract with all the districts around, well, we're working on that. We got 4 or 5 so far. :P I'm getting another new bus very soon, it's gotta get inspected before I get it and I think...next week. woohoo!

My early years were spent in the company of kind Muggles, though there is quite a bit of magical blood through my maternal lineage. The Grandmother on that side was quite into Divination.

I am 57 (translated into dog years that's 8.1428, almost 8.2857) and live in one of the most beautiful spots on the continent (ok - BC and AB can give it a run for the money, but still there isn't a day here that is less than another day in paradise. Really!).


Life is an onging adventure, thus I have MANY skills. I've worked in factories, fields, and fun houses. For example : I have tutored college-level English (yes, I AM the grammar guard, and punctuation police!) and home-schoold my son (who is grown and has a family of his own now); worked very dilligently to solve some environmental problem-projects here, I've had my own cleaning and "gofer" business for well over twenty years; I love doing public presentations and have been known to dress in costume to talk about the history of the "Old West"; I've sewn stage costumes for a rock-n-roll band (made several Potter ones, too! You should see my cloaks!); love animals (have worked in veterinarian offices and on farms); I love to write (not been published - yet :) ) and read just about anything I get may hands on, including cereal boxes; I have an interest in nutrition, sustainable organic farming, and have been vegetarian since 1973; politics is depressing at pressent, but I keep track as much as I can stand; I love history, astrology, am pants at math, like to make things, and I love music but unfortunately can play a radio off-key.

I'm not very shy or retiring, so if I step on your toes, I apologize in advance. No offense intended. Really.



During the Spring before OotP came out, one of my long-time friends sent an email saying she wanted to dress as Molly Weasley for the book release. I replied, "Huh?" She sent a VCR tape stopped just at the floo scene in CoS to illustrate the look whe wanted, and sent Book One.
What she ended up looking like :


Up to that point I had thought they were kid books. So I read books one through five that Summer, and again in the Fall, and again and again and again. I've dressed as Mrs. Figg, Mrs. Black's Portrait, and a witch from Knocturn Alley (carried a huge black cauldron and gave out gummy roadkill and gummy bugs to the other people at the book store - it was great fun!) for the various movie and book opens since.


I am an admin at another HP site, belong to many, am active at several, tend to relate to the world now in terms of Potter-verse, and enjoy it all immensely!

as we're starting over here once again *sigh for the umpteenth time lol*

I'm Laura formerly known as LauraAnn on the old site. I'm the assistant to our Headmistress.
Hi Raven and everyone. OMG DEN!!!!!!!! hello!

ok about me:
I'm 31 (a few months older than Lycanth ha!

I have a dog named Buster who will soon be 15 yrs old in human and 105 in doggie.

I've a younger brother named Ben who is 6yrs younger than I, who is married to Janine and is about to become a papa in July! Woot! I'm gonna be an auntie!

I've a bad back and my ankles are evil so I'm always in pain- but enough of that.

I've been an HP fan since '99 and joined the site when it was still on MSN oh so long ago when was that 2001??or '02. So i've been with NI for a very long time through all its pangs.

I teach potions, dada and sub arithmancy here on the site.

i've a degree in history, minors in anthropology and sociology as well as a concentration in women's studies.

i'm extremely clutzy, as well as cheerful and friendly.
i still live at home with my parents. ummmm hmmm i can't think of anything else right now. too sleepy. lol

So... hello. Those of you who knew me in the other site(s) knew me as CitiKitti and/or Kat (depending on how long you knew me!), except for Den, who has known me longer & calls me by far less savoury names!

I'm Lycanth's best friend, and she is mine. If we weren't on opposite sides of the world, we'd likely have ourselves surgically attached. Or not. That might be painful, come to think of it... Still, you get the idea!

About me... Well, I'm married to Den (the Dendinator!), which many people can't fathom, but there you go. After 8+ years of marriage, we've got 3 beautiful little smartarsed girls, and we're still crazily in love. Or possibly just crazy. I'll get back to you on that.

Um... I read. I love books beyond measure. I also write, or at least I used to write, though I haven't been in ages, and I miss it.

I've been an HP fan since... I don't know. Around 2000? Our oldest was quite small when I first picked up Philosopher's Stone, but I don't quite remember. My favourite character is Sirius Black, closely followed by Ginny Weasley (who I think is quite underrated by HP fans), the Weasley twins, and Remus Lupin.

My other main fandom is Lost, which I love. I'm not going to discuss it here, because it's not HP, but if anyone wants to discuss it, PM me. Unless you're Den, in which case you should just, y'know, talk.

oh and i forgot- my fave charries other than Harry, Ron & Hermione would have to be the weasley twins ;) after book 7 I found myself almost unable to reread book 7 for that reason. But, as I don't know if all our newbs have read TDH I won't go into anything else. Those of you who have known me know why. lol'

oh and i'll probably set up another character or two, a student and a canon besides Laura the professor.

oh lycanth- for other charries we gotta reregister as them? Correct? lol just doublechecking.
