Ensure that your likes/dislikes and strengths/weaknesses are balanced number-wise- within 2. This means if you list 10 of one, you should have at least 8 of the other, otherwise you will be asked to add more or drop some to balance things out. Please do not use synonyms for things to bump up your counts.Likes
Minimum of five. No maximum. Tell us what your character likes or enjoys or tends to spend time doing.Dislikes
Minimum of five. No maximum. What makes your characters nose curl?Habits/Mannerisms
Fidgeter? Toe-tapper? Habitually uses all the ink in a well before purchasing/opening a new one? What little quirks make your character easy to spot?Strengths
What parts of your character are their backbone? Are they loyal, level-headed, or adept at healing? This is where it's listed what makes your character shine, the areas that they've got going for them. Minimum of five, no maximum, but be realistic. Strengths should be impactful personality characteristics that give insight to your character's personality and/or strength of character or that is an observable talent that has helped them to advance/makes them shine. Generally, we like to see personality traits here, but if your character is a professional dancer, for example, dancing's a viable strength. If they're not, we'll ask you to change it. If a strength seems questionable, but we can see how it might work, we might ask for you to expand on how it's a strength for them.Make sure to indicate keywords clearly
for both strengths and weaknesses. This can be by putting <br> between individual strengths, putting a semicolon if you are listing things that are only one or two words long, or by bolding/underlining keywords. This must be done so that we can count which items you are counting as strengths and ensure that 1. you have enough 2. they're different enough from each other to count as separate and 3. they are valid strengths/weaknesses.Weaknesses
No, this isn't like a job interview where you put things like 'too nice' or 'too caring'. ('Attractive people' and food items are also off the list.) Get down and dirty into your character: what makes them shrivel like a fig in winter? Are they horribly bad at potions? Do they have uncontrollable flatulence? Make these realistic, keep the number similar to that of strengths, and have a minimum of five. Weaknesses should be impactful character flaws that give some insight to a character's personality and the personal ordeals they have experienced. Pretty people and the opposite or same gender are NOT
viable weaknesses unless your character happens to be a nymphomaniac (and we mean that in a literal sense, not a 'they really like sex' sense), similarly, unless your character is a bona fide alcoholic, alcohol is not a viable weakness. Creepy crawly things like spiders are also not a viable weakness unless there's a debilitating phobia attached (and again- literally, not a 'I scream upon seeing a spider' situation). Friends and family are what we would consider to be weaknesses for everyone, so unless the thought of losing them is near debilitating, these typically won't be accepted as weaknesses or may require further expansion/specification.

.)General Character Traits
Go wild, hit your two paragraphs and tell us what your character is like personality-wise. Are they shy? Do they like to make others pee themselves in laughter? Write how the character interacts with others on a regular basis, as if you're telling us about a friend you want us to understand before we meet them. The body of general character traits needs to have a minimum of 200
words. Yes, we have literally sent a Pending to someone that had 199 words in that section asking them to add one more word. The minimum is the minimum.
Try not to give too much history in your general character traits -general character traits should be focused mostly on your character's personality. Context is wonderful, but just make sure that you're expanding most on the personality traits.
If your character is an empath, medium, or Seer, this should be mentioned in this section as these are impactful abilities that can have quite the effect on a character's psyche.
